These Meatball Parmesan Sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that's perfect for parties or a casual weeknight dinner. The combination of savory meatballs, melted mozzarella cheese, and tangy tomato sauce is irresistible.
Shoutout to one of my besties, Megan, for absolutely crushing it with these Meatball Parmesan Sliders! She whipped them up for the college football kickoff last Saturday, and let me tell you, my family was obsessed.
These sliders are the ultimate comfort food, and they're so easy to make. AND I definitely STOLE this recipe for my next game day party. :-)
Trust me... these are worth they hype, we were positively DROOLING over them!!!
Ingredients:
1 package (of 12) Kings Hawaiian Rolls
12 cocktail meatballs (cooked)
1/2 cup tomato sauce (I love Rao's)
1/4-1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (divided)
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Parsley for garnish (optional)
Garlic butter (4 tablespoons soft butter, 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon Parmesan cheese & sprinkle of salt )
Instructions:
Preheat oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the rolls: Cut small, deep circles into the center of each Hawaiian roll without cutting through to the bottom. Use your fingers or the bottom of a small glass to push down the center and create a larger space.
Make the garlic butter: Melt butter and add remaining ingredients.
Spoon the garlic butter: Spoon the garlic butter on top and inside of the rolls.
Bake: Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 6 minutes, or until lightly toasted.
Fill the rolls: Add a small amount of tomato sauce to the center of each roll. Place a small piece of mozzarella cheese in each roll, followed by a cooked meatball. Add another slice of cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake again: Bake for another 6-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.(checking frequently)
Serve: Let the sliders cool slightly before garnishing with parsley and serving.
Tips:
For a quicker meal, use pre-cooked meatballs and jarred tomato sauce.
You can customize these sliders with your favorite toppings, such as mushrooms, onions, or peppers.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara or ranch.
